Level 101-MSK Ultrasound-guided injection academy : in partnership with “the association of Rheumatology and medical rehabilitation in KGR”.

Date 30-June 2022 – 01-July 2022. Venue: Canyon Hotel- Erbil

On this date, we launched the full curriculum of the “MSK Ultrasound-Guided Injection Academy” which includes three major levels:

Level 101: Basic Ultrasound Skills and interpretation (18 Training hours)

Level 102: Pathological identification by Ultrasound (18 Training Hours)

Level 103: Mastering MSK Ultrasound Guided Injection (18 Training hours)

On the 30th of June 2022 and up to the end of 1st of July (total of 18 training hrs), trainees where introduced to basic ultrasound hand skills, techniques and image interpretation. The training was attended by leading class of rheumatologists across Erbil and Duhok. The trainees where satisfied with the level of education and facilitation guaranteed throughout the training and the majority felt comfortable and confident to integrate ultrasound in their practice.
