CO2 Angiography Workshop and preceptorship: In collaboration with Dr. Shwan Othman Ameen.

Date: 6th of November 2021. Venue: Medical Help Hospital-Erbil. CO2 Angiography is a life-saving solution for those patients who have developed kidney failure and are not able to tolerate iodine-based contrast. In this preceptorship, Dr. Shwan and his team have conducted the first-ever CO2 angiography procedure in Kurdistan region. A clinically trained staff member of the Italian manufacturer, Angiodroid, Eng. Fouad Halaby, has guided the team throughout the procedure, which was very successful. The real hands on experience has demonstrated the effectiveness and compatibility of Angiodroid with all cath lab settings out there and the ease of acquiring images without the need of iodine-contrast imaging.
