AISIN: The Gate Changes the Game of Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring.
November 2, 2022 2023-08-26 10:04AISIN: The Gate Changes the Game of Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring.
Research has proven that the traditional approach for measuring ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (cuff-based approach) is associated with a false elevation of blood pressure, particularly when the cuff is inflated while patient is asleep. The inflation might cause the patient to wake up, and even if he doesn’t, his mind does, and in either scenario, a false elevation is reflected on the read of the blood pressure. Having this said, we are proud to announce our collaboration with a world-leading manufacturer of Non-Invasive Blood Pressure Monitor (NIBP), SOMNOmedicsGmbH, Germany, who has changed the norms of measuring BP using Transient Pulsation Time technology to measure Blood Pressure using no cuffs at all.
We believe this ground breaking technology shall not only enable physicians to accurately obtain better results for ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, but also enables them to get direct reads (beat-to-beat) of BP, which is important in addressing tilting table tests and other challenging scenarios of BP fluctuations
